Morpheus, Hypnos and Oneiros are all mythological deities that symbolised the freedom and power of dreams, each in their own way. Morpheus was known to have wings so strong, they could take him to the edge of any dream world. Hypnos is the absolute personification and the overarching, mythical authority of sleep while Oneiros, literally meaning ‘dream’, was one of Hypnos’ children, the carrier of god sent dreams.
